

Public Transport

Via Plane-Land-Sea
1. Take a plane from Manila to San Jose Mindoro
2. Take a trike ride from the airport to Grace Island booking office. (10min)
3. At the booking office, confirm your reservation and take their boat to the island
***Reservation is a must since they would need to prepare the day before depending on guests.
Via Land-Sea-Land-Sea (Manila)
1. From Manila take Dimplestar/Roro bus lines which will take you directly to San Jose (approx. 9 hours including Roro travel). You could also try the newly opened route of Partas bus lines at Pasay which have new buses and with no passenger pick-ups along the way.
2. Take a trike ride from the terminal to Grace Island booking office. (10min)
3. At the booking office, confirm your reservation and take their boat to the island
Within Mindoro
If you are coming from other tourists areas in Mindoro like Sabang, White Beach, or Apo Reef – there are always bus terminals or vans going south to San Jose. Just take note that night travel will be difficult if you opt to use vans since they need to fill up their quota passengers.

Aside from the floating cottages offered at Grace Island, they also offer air-conditioned rooms stationed on the main island itself. So if you’re one who fears sleeping on a floating cottage then you won’t have to worry. Also, they offer day tours here, so you actually could stay on the main island of San Jose. There are many hotels just by the departure port at Aroma Beach.
