Canyon Cove, a beautiful coastal inlet with calm waters located at Nasugbu, Batangas.
To access the cove, you may need to check in or have a day tour at Canyon Cove Hotel and Spa. Though it’s also possible to access it from other resorts via boats since the cove is property of the STATE and could not be owned privately. (See the “Water Code of Philippines Chapter II). But of course, it is more convenient to just book in at the resort to lessen the hassle of renting a boat.

HOW TO GET THERE
Public Transport
- From EDSA Taft Station, walk a short distance to bus terminals going to Nasugbu Batangas specifically DLTB bus terminal.
- Alight at Nasugbu town proper, landmark: town plaza and church. Ride a tricycle going to Canyon Cove.
Private Transport
- From SLEX, exit at Sta. Rosa passing Tagaytay town proper then taking Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway
- Upon seeing the boundery of Nasugbu Batangas and Tagaytay, turn right and follow the main highway.
- Once you see a split between Tuy and Nasugbu is seen, just follow the right path on the Tuy-Nasugbu highway.
- You will again encounter a fork (Nasugbu and Calatagan) on the main highway, just turn right as well.

And without further ado, here’s a little sneak peak for you guys! Let’s start by walking down the beach and swimming across towards the rocky areas as well.

Now swimming/kayaking further out will lead you to these rocky shores.
And probably you would sit back and watch the calm sea from here…
And walk along the stretch of the entire cove…
And if you would be checking in at Canyon Cove, I’ll probably remind you guys that the only restaurant available here is Max’s Restaurant. Though you could always go out of the resort and try Nasugbu’s specialties right?
