Calaguas, the perfect beach paradise, is an island at Camarines Norte that raises the level of what white sand beaches really are. Blessed with a cove-like landscape, a wide area of white sandy beach, and a shallow shoreline gives way to surreal backdrops and crazy underderwater selfies! It’s light blue waters and white seabed creates the perfect opportunity to capture those mind-boggling shots underneath.
Aside from its beautiful beach, Calaguas presents a pretty lazy atmosphere and provide a hefty dose of relaxation. Time is pretty slow here, so why not bring those volleyballs and frisbies along the way to kill it. Oh did I mention that the sunsets and the starry nightsky at Calaguas will feed your eyes with amazement? Rediscover more of the Philippines’ best beaches here at Calaguas.

- Turn right on the first fork (if confused ask the locals you’re nearly there)
- Upon reaching Paracale, you could park your car here.

EXPLORING CALAGUAS
One of the best beaches I’ve been in the Philippines, and I could tell you guys that the long bus rides would be worth it. Disclaimer: Picture overload! I hate choosing pictures for blogs if you have like a thousand of beautiful shots. Lol. I think I gave too much details already, its up to you to fill your adventure bucket and rediscover more of Calaguas!
The bright blue sky and the clear blue waters at Calaguas Island!
The perfect place for photo addicts and selfie junkies!
Fine white sands, clear waters, and a relaxing atmosphere to top it off!
Go island hopping and rediscover unique islands along the way!
Definitely a breath-taking view point!
Strong winds entail your every step!
So I guess one should be extra careful along the ridges right?
And if these waters don’t tempt you to plunge in, then I don’t know what will.
It’s a pretty long walk to the other side…and pretty hot too!
But plunging in here takes the heat away for sure!
Very clear waters indeed…there’s not enough words to describe it!
Time does not flow at Calaguas, you’re stuck in paradise! 🙂
Unlimited swimming for you guys!
This is definitely worth the long bus rides!
Waling-Waling, a Filipino inspired resort; definitely our recommendation.
No AC/TV’s at Waling-Waling – only hammocks and a beautiful beachfront ahead.
The coolest resort not only because it uses it’s space for greenery, but because they serve delicious meals too!
And this is your every morning view!
And when you think it’s all about beaches – then that’s just half the story.
Hike the island’s summit and feel the sea breeze pass you by.
Waiting for the sunrise…
A beautiful day at Calaguas!
Chill time up until dusk.
Then do a stroll along the beach as the sun gracefully bids farewell.
And when the sun starts to fade, a new beauty arises.
Sunsets – the perfect time for swimming; the water is warm and the breeze a little cooler…
And it fills the air with so much nostalgia.
