HOW TO GET HERE



Public Transport

1. Flight from Manila to Davao City
2. From Davao City airport, ride a cab/multi-cab/jeepney to Davao Ecoland Terminal.
3. You could either ride a Van (3-4hrs) or Bus (5-6hrs) going to Mati from here.
***Bus schedules usually start at 5AM and last trips around 6PM.
Though some have 24hrs service, it’s not adviseable to travel during the night
4. At Mati, you could ride a tricycle to your hotel. Most probably you would be staying at Dahican beach area.

(Optional): If in a large group, you could also rent a van going north to the City of Cateel and rediscover the hidden falls of Aliwagwag

WHERE TO STAY

There most recommended area for you to stay is at the Dahican beach area. There you could choose from a mayhem of accommodations; be it a hotel, a shared room, or a tent. You could also bring your tent and camp out here as well. I’ll just be listing the popular ones below. You could actually walk down the beach and choose your accommodations as well.

FUN FACT!

During the fishing season, fishes are so abundant even after export that they drop prices around 20php per kilo. They could also give it to you for free in the afternoon because they can’t store it and it will only spoil anyway.
From Mati, you could also visit the northern municipalities of Bislig all the way to Hinatuan (click here) and even the Britania islands (click here). Only recommended if you have a lot of time to spare and probably via van or private vehicle.
