Bolinao – usually a known as a side trip after visiting the famous Hundred Islands on Alaminos, it also boasts a lot of unique places on its own – the Enchanted Freshwater Caves, and the long sandy beaches at Patar to name a few. So how about trying to rediscover Bolinao and see what you are missing out!

How to Get Here

If you’re from Manila, you could just take a bus bound to Bolinao. (Personal preference would be Victory Liner Cubao Terminal or 5-star bus if you’re near Pasay). If you’re coming from Alaminos after touring the Hundred islands, you could just take a bus going to Bolinao on the main highway. It would take about 6 hours to reach Bolinao from Manila and about and an hour from Alaminos.

Though for your convenience, its advisable to bring your own vehicle or just rent one so you won’t worry too much on baggage and stuff.

Where to Stay

There are a lot of resorts at Bolinao. Famous ones reside near Patar beach. It will be more convenient to you if you stay here since it will also be near all hotspots. Though this doesn’t prevent you from staying on resorts or hotels near town.
