Searching for something new at Laguna? How about exploring the majestic Hulugan Falls and spend the night camping out here as well! Not only do you experience one breath-taking view of the Hulugan Falls, you could also opt to visit more waterfalls in the area – like Talay and Hidden Falls! And if you’re really chasing waterfalls, you might as well go to Aliw Falls, or travel up to Cavinti Falls! Nevertheless, whatever you do will surely be an adventure. For now, let’s explore the municipality of Luisiana and rediscover the mighty Hulugan Falls!

HOW TO GET THERE

Public Transport

  1. From Manila, you could take any bus going to Sta. Cruz Laguna. Buses at JAC Liner Buendia have an hourly trip there.
  2. Get off at Sta. Cruz Laguna, specifically at the intersection just past Sta. Cruz river. You could tell the driver to drop you where the jeepneys to Luisiana Laguna are located. And if you’re still not sure where this is – here is a map for easy visual.
  3. From here, take the jeepney (sometimes a super large jeepney) to Luisiana Laguna and tell the driver to drop you off at Barangay San Salvador – the gateway to Hulugan Falls!
  4. From here, there are a lot of tricycles that could take you to Hulugan Falls Jump-Off point. You could secure your guides and porters here as well.
  • (Optional 1) After your trip at Hulugan Falls, you could get back at the jump-off point and ride your tricycle to Aliw Falls – another destination here at Luisiana
  • (Optional 2) You could also ride a jeepney back and go to Cavinti, where the legendary Cavinti (Pagsanjan) Falls is found!

IMPORTANT NOTES

  • At Hulugan Falls, you have an option to visit nearby falls as well such as the Talay and Hidden Falls!
  • Another activity would probably be camping at a nearby campsite (20 minutes from Hulugan Falls) and enjoy the night sky with friends!
  • If you intend to do camping, make sure to bring your headlamps and insect repellents.
